「现在几点了」千万别翻译成：What time is it now

“现在几点了”到底怎么说？

很多人会把“现在几点了”说成What time is it now？

但这是典型的中式英语，在英语里，当你问别人时间时，默认就是问现在的时间。

没有特别说明的情况下，不会有人问明天或昨天的时间。所以，加上“now”反而多余。

正确的表达有：

1、What time is it, please?

这种表达更礼貌，在请求别人告知时间时很常用：

A: Excuse me. What time is it, please?

B: It's half past nine.

A：打扰一下，请问现在几点了？

A: Excuse me. What time is it, please?

B: It's half past nine.

2、What's the time?

这也是询问时间的常见说法，简洁明了

“时间不够”用英语怎么说？

1、There isn't enough time.

意思就是“时间不够了”，强调时间的短缺状态。

Example：There isn't enough timeto finish all the tasks before the deadline. So we have to ask for an extension.

Translation：在截止日期前没有足够的时间完成所有任务了。所以我们得申请延期。

2、We don't have enough time.

可以理解为“我们没时间了”，突出主体“我们”没有足够的时间去做某事

Example：We don't have enough timeto catch the 8 o'clock train. Let's take the next one.

Translation：我们没有足够的时间赶上 8 点的火车了。我们坐下一趟吧。
